Trial of four activists on charges of freedom and difference of opinion

Primary Court in Muscat on Monday morning 9/7/2012  verdicts in cases of abuse against the Sultan for the 4 defendants as follows:

First, sentenced to one year and fined estimated by 200 RO right:

1 – Hamad al-Kharusi
2 – Mahmoud Hamad al-Rawahi

Second, the prison sentence for six months with a fine right:

Hamood Al Rashidi

Third, sentenced to one year the right to:

ALi Hilal AL-Maqbali

And to the accused the right to appeal the above provisions within the legal period specified for that and have the bail 1000 RO is estimated for each of them until the end of a long appeal or decision.

On July 26 issued a Court of First Instance Khuwair sentenced each of the photographer “Mohamed Al Habsi,” and “Abdullah Al-raimi”, “Abdullah bin Salim Al Siyabi” for one year for insulting the self Bowl, also issued a judgment on each of the “Talib Al Abri,” and university student, “Mohammed al Badi,” and a college student “Mona Suhail Hardan” serving imprisonment for one year and six months, where he was punished to one year imprisonment on charges of insulting the self-Sultan, in addition to imprisonment of six months in prison for violating the law of information technology, with a fine of a thousand RO, for each the accused, in addition to the thousand riyals last of bail until the appeal September 15.
